Attention 8th Grade Parents: It’s that time of year to start planning the 8th grade class party. The party is planned and put on by the parents. If you are interested in helping plan the party and/or joining one of the committees please come to the parent meeting on:

Mrs. Smith's 5th grade science students designed their own animals, showing their knowledge about animal adaptations, then designed habitats and created food webs to show how energy moves within their ecosystems.







TMS Archery competed in the first competition at Lees Summit. It was a great learning experience for all.








The GRC Honor Choir event scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed until Saturday February 22nd.

Currently in her second year in this role, Mrs. Woodson works with high school students, helping them navigate and achieve their post-secondary goals. Whether it's college, trade school, military, career training, or joining the workforce, she's there every step of the way.
A proud THS graduate herself and former middle school math teacher, Mrs. Woodson has spent most of her life enriching the Trenton R9 district. Her history in the community and hands-on experience make her a great advocate for our students’ futures. 🌟
Outside of work, Mrs. Woodson enjoys going for walks, reading, and spending quality time with her two adorable grandchildren, Bodhi and Teddy.

🎉 Happy Counselors Week! Celebrating Mrs. Taylor Ormsby at Trenton High School! 🎓
Mrs. Ormsby graduated from Trenton High School and has been a counselor for 10 years, 6 of which have been at Trenton High School. She is a proud Mizzou graduate with a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling from Missouri State University. Mrs. Ormsby spent time in the Springfield area before returning home to raise her family as Trenton Bulldogs.
"I am so proud to be raising my family in my hometown. I love supporting my students and my community at local activities, reading, and golfing. I am honored to be a part of the high school journey of my students and love watching them graduate and move on to the next part of their lives. "

This week was Counselor Week and we have one of the best here at TMS, Mrs. Leslie Woodard. Mrs.Woodard goes above and beyond taking care of our kids showing kindness and compassion all the while pushing our kids to be the best they can be. Thank you, Mrs. Woodard for everything you do!!

🌟 Continuing our Counselors Week celebration, today we'd like to introduce and spotlight Trenton Middle School's wonderful counselor, Mrs. Woodard! 🎉
Mrs. Woodard is not only a counselor at the TMS, but she is also a proud Trenton High School Alumni, having been born and raised right here in the Trenton area. This marks her 17th year serving as a counselor within our district, after initially teaching for three years before becoming a counselor.
Having graduated with a Master's Degree in School Counseling from MIZZOU in 2008 (Go Tigers!), Mrs. Woodard is deeply committed to the well-being and success of our students. Outside of school, she loves supporting her daughter's activities and takes great joy in attending all Trenton R9 events. GO BULLDOGS! 🐾
Her passion for working with the fantastic students and staff at TMS is evident every single day. Thank you, Mrs. Woodard, for your dedication to our students.

🌟 Continuing our Counselors Week celebration, today we'd like to introduce and spotlight Trenton R-IX's wonderful counselor, Mrs. Streiff! 🎉
Mrs. Streiff was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, coming from a family rich with teachers and counselors. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in School Guidance and Counseling. Before joining Trenton, Mrs. Strieff served as a high school counselor near Branson, MO, for 8 years.
In 2020, life brought her to Northwest Missouri, where she embraced the role of an elementary counselor. Mrs. Streiff is in her 5th year as an elementary counselor, and she stated that "every moment has been a joy. It’s truly awesome being a Trenton Bulldog!"

📣 It's Counselors Week at Trenton R-IX School District! 🎉 We're excited to spotlight our amazing counselors throughout the week, starting with S.M. Rissler's very own Counselor, Christy Grissom! 🌟
Christy has been in education for 24 years! As a school counselor and administrator, Mrs. Grissom brings a lot of experience to our students at Rissler Elementary. Christy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a private counseling practice in Kirksville.
This year, Mrs. Grissom introduced Zoe the Therapy Dog to our district, a new addition that both students and staff absolutely LOVE! 🐾❤️
Outside of work, Mrs. Grissom enjoys reading and scrapbooking. Her favorite aspects of school counseling include the students, smiles, and hugs!
