For the last Mega Monday of the year, Mrs. Mounce came to lead the students in a special Spring project. Students learned about writing Haiku poems before creating their own poem about Spring. Mrs. Mounce then led students in painting a Japanese Cherry Blossom Tree. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Mounce for leading this project and a HUGE thank you to the 5th grade teachers for taking on Mega Monday and providing this great opportunity for our 5th grade kids!
