A little science pizza to start the day in 5th grade. Students had different slices of their pizza representing different areas of physical science. Some had their pizzas in boxes and others on sheets, but everyone did a great job.

TMS kicked off our day with a MAP Assembly. Students and staff gathered in the gym to talk about the testing coming up next week, some pointers on doing well, and the importance of the test.
After, everyone enjoyed donuts, milk/juice, and other snacks to get us going.

April is National Library Month! To celebrate, every time students at TMS & THS checked out a book from the LMC (Library Media Center), they were able to enter a drawing for prizes. Grand prize winners of a $10 Sonic gift card were: THS Junior Titus Kottwitz and TMS 7th grader Lillyann Lorenz. Several other students received candy bars.
All students and staff were allowed to enter the "Guess the Number of Bookworms" Contest. The total number of gummy worms was 231. There was a tie between 6th grader Wesley Stiles and 5th grader Mae Lasley, who both guessed 230. They agreed to split the worms.
