We have made some changes to the THS basketball schedules:
The JV/V basketball games with Polo on Tuesday are being rescheduled for Wednesday, February 7. The schedule for that night will be:
2 quarters of JV girls and 2 quarters of JV boys in the TMS gym beginning at 5:00
Varsity girls and boys games in the THS gym with the girls game beginning at 6:00.
On January 31 we are adding a night with Lawson. The C boys will play in the TMS gym beginning at 5:00. The Varsity girls game with Lawson will also begin at 5:00 in the THS gym with the varsity boys to follow.
The Trenton wrestling teams will not be attending the Chillicothe wrestling tournament tomorrow due to weather.

The THS wrestling teams will have a dual with Gallatin tonight in the THS gym beginning at 4:30.
Due to forecasted weather conditions for tonight, the varsity wrestling dual with Marceline has been postponed. Also, the varsity basketball teams will not be traveling to the Lawson Tournament games tonight.
The wrestling dual tomorrow night(Thursday) with Marceline will now begin at 5:00 instead of 5:30.
Trenton R-IX WILL be in session tomorrow. Buses will run on hard surface routes only.
All games scheduled for the Lawson Basketball Tournament tonight have been canceled.
Weather permitting, the THS varsity basketball teams will play at the Lawson Tournament Wednesday night. Updated brackets are attached.

Bright Futures Winter Booster Event
The brackets for the Lawson Tournament next week are attached. The girls and boys open play Tuesday night.

The THS basketball teams will be in action at South Harrison this Friday night. The JV girls will play 2 quarters starting at 4:30 with 2 quarter of JV boys action to follow. The varsity games will follow the JV halves.
The Trenton R-9 Mascot team will be at the Trenton/Chillicothe Basketball game tonight from 6:30 till 8:00 in the THS Commons by the Christmas Tree. Trent will be in his Santa hat and coat along with his friends The Grinch, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and One Elf. You are welcome to bring by your children and take pictures with the characters. There will be a treat as well. Happy Holidays from the Mascot team .

The Trenton R-IX School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the school board to file to be a candidate in the April 2, 2024, election. Interested persons may file at the superintendent's offices located at 1607 Normal St. For more information, contact Trenton R-IX Superintendent Daniel Gott at 660-359-3994.
Filing will begin on December 5, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the district's regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from December 5-15 and 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on December 18 – 21. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that the school district's central offices are closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays and breaks when the school district's central offices are closed: Friday December 22 & Monday December 25. Filing will end on Tuesday December 26, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
There are two positions available with three-year terms.
