Varsity Softball Tournament Brackets for Saturday 8/30

The THS softball team traveled to Brookfield this morning for their jamboree, picking up wins over Brookfield and Putnam County. The Bulldogs open the regular season this Thursday, August 28 at home against Worth County. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00.

Congratulations to our FFA program and their teachers, Kabel Oaks and Sadie Stimpson! We can't shine a big enough light on all their hard work and accomplishments!

THS Drumline was in the gym before 7:00 this morning preparing for their fall season.

THS and TMS sports practices are in full swing! Go dogs!

Students in Mr Webb's Guitars class are already learning new chords and Mr Busick's Gold Rush choir are working on songs for a performance on Labor Day weekend!

THS students ended a great first day with a pep assembly planned by our Student Council!

THS students and staff were greeted by the Golden Bulldog Marching Band as they entered school this morning!

THS FFA members were active at the state fair this year with some great results!

Any family with a student enrolled at Trenton R-IX that completes a Free and Reduced Lunch form will be entered into a drawing to win a $50.00 Amazon Gift Card. Applications can be picked up at any school office, the Bright Futures Back to School Event, or during the open house. They must be returned by Tuesday, August 19th, at 3:15 PM to be eligible to win. There will be 2 winners!

THS student and parents: Trenton High School has adopted the electronic personal communication device policy established in Senate Bill 68. During the school day, students will no longer be allowed to have their phone on their person. Student phones brought into the building must be stored in their locker from 8:05-3:15. Students found in possession of their phone will be punished according to the discipline plan.

Bulldogs! For the first time since 2018, THS students will be able to choose their lockers before school starts. Each grade will have a specific set of lockers to choose from; for example, the senior class will choose from most of the lockers in the main THS hallway. Students will be able to come into the high school next week to sign up for a locker. You MUST BE PRESENT to claim a locker; your friends won't be able to sign up for you. You may sign up at the following times: Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12: 8:30-11:30 Wednesday, August 13: FRESHMEN ONLY, 5:00-6:00 Thursday, August 14: SOPHOMORE THROUGH SENIORS ONLY, 4:00-5:30 If you are unable to sign up during one of these times, your locker will be assigned on the first day of school.
