The Bulldog softball team drops their semifinal game to Marshall, 9-0. In the third place game against California, the Bulldogs bounce back with a 5-4 win.

Emma Welch goes 2-4 including a 2 run HR and Kaylor Hodge goes 3-4, reaching all 4 times and scoring 3 runs in Trenton's 10-0 win over Lafayette County in the Marshall Tournament. Welch picks up career win #1 with a 3 hit shutout including 14 Ks.

Our new FACS teacher at THS is Rebecca Smith and her classes are off to a flying start. In Career Entrepreneurship, students practiced being teachers by preparing a lesson plan about something they are good at/passionate about, then delivered the lesson to their peers. Mr. Gott spoke with the class about his journey in education. All FACS students contributed to a collage of hexagons showing that every student in all FACS classes are connected by at least one thing!

Parents, school pictures will be taken next Wednesday, September 3, at both THS and TMS. Order forms were passed out to students this morning and a form is attached.

Varsity Softball Tournament Brackets for Saturday 8/30

The THS softball team traveled to Brookfield this morning for their jamboree, picking up wins over Brookfield and Putnam County. The Bulldogs open the regular season this Thursday, August 28 at home against Worth County. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00.

Congratulations to our FFA program and their teachers, Kabel Oaks and Sadie Stimpson! We can't shine a big enough light on all their hard work and accomplishments!
