Rissler Elementary Fundraiser Coming Soon

A big thank you to the Rissler Teachers, THS Cheerleaders, THS Color Guard and the Trenton Police Department for making the first day special for every Rissler Elementary student. There were friendly faces, high fives, dancing routines and music welcoming every student to their first day. It was awesome!

Any family with a student enrolled at Trenton R-IX that completes a Free and Reduced Lunch form will be entered into a drawing to win a $50.00 Amazon Gift Card. Applications can be picked up at any school office, the Bright Futures Back to School Event, or during the open house. They must be returned by Tuesday, August 19th, at 3:15 PM to be eligible to win. There will be 2 winners!

Rissler Elementary Policy Changes
Phone Policy: Missouri Senate Bill 68 mandates phone restrictions on student cell use in public schools. Rissler doesn’t recommend students bring cell phones to school and accepts no liability for lost items. Except in emergencies, all parent communication should go through the front office. If students bring a phone to Rissler Elementary they will need to store their turned off phones in their locker or backpack from 7:25 AM to 3:00 PM.

Walker Release Policy: For safety reasons, Rissler will not be letting walkers out of the school building while car riders are being picked up. There will be no early exit of students from the North doors after school. Walkers will be supervised in the cafeteria and will be released from the front doors after the car riders have been picked up.
