Our busy month is coming to an end. After today, Rissler Elementary is signing off for Christmas break. With a little help from Santa, our hallways are full of holiday cheer. As we leave for Christmas break, the students and teachers at Rissler want to wish our amazing community a joyful and restful season. Merry Christmas

Today is the final day to file for the Trenton R-IX Board of Education. There are three seats open for the April 7, 2026 election.

For anyone interested in running, the District Office will be open until 5:00 PM to accept filings.

Early Out TODAY for Winter Break!

What happens when you combine Rissler teachers, students, parents, community partners and holiday fun? Well today it was a 2nd grade Gingerbread House Decorating party. There were 77 parents helping 81 students decorate adorable houses.

We had a well-attended 2nd Quarter ABC Awards assembly. The A in ABC is for Academic Achievement (Red). The B is for Behavior or BARK Expectations (Blue) and the C is for Citizenship and Character Strong (Yellow). It was great to celebrate excellence and high achievement in Rissler students. I’m surrounded by great teachers and great students every day. It made it even better to share the moment with the parents. We are so lucky to have such a supportive community here in Trenton.

Some of Ms. McNabb's students cashed in some paws for Zoe Time today!

Cara McClellan with American Family along with Tonna and Jaci helped Terrific Kids put together 300 dental hygiene packets today! The packets will be delivered with Food Pals!

Students in Mrs. Lynn's Kindergarten cashed in their points for some Zoe Time!
