A few pictures in honor of our local veterans
Happy Veterans Day! This morning Rissler Elementary celebrated some of this countries bravest heroes. Each grade from Kindergarten to 4th grade either sang a song for the veterans in attendance or gave them a gift of appreciation. We gathered to gather to celebrate those who have worn the uniform in service to this country. To all veterans out there... Thank you for all that you have done.

Today's pictures are from a lesson in Mrs. Foster's 4th grade class. The students were learning about the importance of Veterans Day and how important their role is to keeping this country safe.
