The Trenton R-9 Mascot team will be at the Trenton/Chillicothe Basketball game tonight from 6:30 till 8:00 in the THS Commons by the Christmas Tree. Trent will be in his Santa hat and coat along with his friends The Grinch, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and One Elf. You are welcome to bring by your children and take pictures with the characters. There will be a treat as well. Happy Holidays from the Mascot team .


The Trenton R-IX School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the school board to file to be a candidate in the April 2, 2024, election. Interested persons may file at the superintendent's offices located at 1607 Normal St. For more information, contact Trenton R-IX Superintendent Daniel Gott at 660-359-3994.
Filing will begin on December 5, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the district's regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from December 5-15 and 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on December 18 – 21. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that the school district's central offices are closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays and breaks when the school district's central offices are closed: Friday December 22 & Monday December 25. Filing will end on Tuesday December 26, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
There are two positions available with three-year terms.

Trenton High School and Middle School will dismiss at 12:07.
Lunch will be served to all students, and all bus routes will run, including THS Vo-Tech.

The Trenton R-IX School District will release classes early TOMMORROW to accommodate the funeral service of longtime THS custodian Graham McVay.

Due to a house fire buses had to be rerouted and running 5-10 minutes behind. Bus #5 will be running around 20 minutes late. We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Trenton R-9 counselors Taylor Ormsby, Whitley Richman, Christy Grissom, and Leslie Woodard (not pictured) attended the Missouri School Counselor Association conference this week. Trenton counselors are excited to bring what they have learned back to their buildings to better support students academically, socially, emotionally, and towards their career goals.

The Trenton football 🏈 team will host Lathrop this TONIGHT in a Class 2 district quarterfinal. Kickoff is 7:00, gates will open at 5:30. All admission is $6, no passes allowed due to it being a MSHSAA game.
