The Trenton R-9 Mascot team represented Trenton R-9 in the Missouri Day Parade on Saturday October 20th. The mascots walked the parade route while shaking hands and passing out goodies. The district is pleased that the mascots participated in the Missouri Day's Festivities.
Congratulations to the softball team on their victory over the Holden Eagles on Saturday. This victory allows the team to play in the state tournament on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27. To accommodate the students, faculty and fans who would like to attend the game, the Trenton R-IX School District will not be in session on Friday, October 26. (This includes pre-school and the Success Center.)
The Bright Futures Breakfast, scheduled for Friday, October 26, will go on as planned in the THS gym. (7:00 am to 8:00 am)
The staff at S.M. Rissler are attempting to reschedule the 4th grade trip to Shatto Dairy and the Kindergarten Fun Day to Crowder. Announcements will be made in future about the rescheduled times of these events.

A new popcorn machine (provided by the Alumni Foundation) was put into use by the mascot team at the home HS volleyball game last night!
