We’re Learning How to BARK!
The first week of school is all about building relationships, learning routines, and making sure our Bulldogs know what it means to be a great member of our school community! One of the most important things we’re learning is our BARK Expectations:
🐾 B – Be Safe
🐾 A – Act Responsibly
🐾 R – Respect Others
🐾 K – Kind Actions
Our students have been traveling around the school and learning what BARK looks like in all of our different areas—from the bus and hallways to the bathrooms, lunchroom, classrooms, and beyond! We know that teaching expectations, practicing them, and reinforcing them helps our students feel confident and successful. We’re so proud of our Bulldogs as they learn, practice, and grow together!
More about PAWS and their REWARDS later.

Friend of Rissler
We are incredibly grateful for this amazing group of retired educators who have chosen to come back and pour their time, knowledge, and experience into our newest teachers!
These mentors are partnering with our new hires to encourage, support, answer questions, share ideas, and help them navigate the exciting (and sometimes overwhelming!) first years in education.
There is something truly special about educators who have spent years serving students and now choose to give back by investing in the next generation of teachers. Their wisdom is invaluable, and we are so thankful for their willingness to be part of our school family once again.
Thank you for coming back, sharing your expertise, and helping our new teachers grow and thrive. We are lucky to have you!
Once a teacher, always a teacher!
