The following expectations are written to provide a safe environment for all spectators at home football games. We ask that all parents/guardians talk to their children about the following rules.
1. All students Prek-8th grade must be accompanied by an adult (18+ and not a current K-12 student)
2. All students are asked to be seated or standing with that adult during the football game unless they are walking to or from the concession stand/restrooms.
3. Students should not run in the football stadium as they make their way to the restroom or concession stand.
4. Students are not allowed to bring balls or play tossing games in the stadium. This includes throwing water/pop bottles etc.
5. In order to respect parents/guardians and patrons watching the game in the stadium bleachers, all children are asked to be seated in the bleacher area, and to keep the walkway clear.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep our home events safe for our students and patrons.

Due to the rain, we are canceling the Rissler Elementary walk in today’s homecoming parade. Our elementary students will not be walking in the parade.
The homecoming parade itself has not been canceled. This change applies only to Rissler Elementary’s participation.

Superheroes sharing school spirit in Mrs. Whipple's class.
Mrs. Kirk's preschool students enjoyed making and eating pizzas in class today.
Our students are building something special—one perfect attendance day at a time!
Whenever everyone in a class is present, the class gets to add a piece to its Mr. Potato Head figure. Once they’ve added the eyes, ears, and all the other pieces, they earn a party with a visit from our five-foot-tall inflatable Mr. Potato Head!
It’s a fun way to celebrate showing up, and our students are excited to see their Potato Heads come together. Take a look at the pictures to see the party!

What an incredible day at ElevateEd 2026! Nearly 600 educators from 20 school districts came together for almost 80 breakout sessions focused on learning, collaboration, and practical strategies for small and rural schools.
