Congratulations to Trenton High School Teacher of the Quarter Derek Bloom. Mr. Bloom is in his third year at THS and teaches Government and dual credit American History. Mr. Bloom is also the coach for the THS Scholar Bowl team. "Mr. Bloom demonstrates daily that he is a master of his content and has a way of engaging students in meaningful activities and discussion that makes the learning relevant" says THS Principal Kasey Bailey. "He's a valuable member of our teaching faculty and we're glad he's been recognized with this honor."
Teachers of the Quarter are nominated by their colleagues, who also then vote on the finalists. Mr. Bloom is the first THS Teacher of the Quarter for the 2021-2022 school year.
